June 23rd 2010 Our shop and gallery will be re opening on the 4th of July. We have rearranged the shop and gallery layout and it looks just wonderful. We are having a visit from the Denmark TAFE Cert 3 Horticulture students this coming Monday and are really looking forward to showing them around. As you would be aware we carry a large variety of tea, we are pleased to announce that we have been able to source some certified organic/certified free trade coffee from East Timor and this will be on our shelves very soon. We are enjoying the cooler weather and we are getting jobs done as the weather allows. The chooks have been banished from the orchard as they were jumping up and eating a lot of our fruit! The orchard will get a cleanup over the winter, we will bury the reticulation pipe, weed around the trees and fill in the excavations made by the chickens over the summer! At least the tree roots are safe as we had pegged chicken wire over them.. Never fear, the banished chickens have got a new run to forage in which is fenced and netted from foxes and eagles. Our newest additions are: Handmade Aprons NEW SOAPS!! Eucalyptus and Lemon Myrtle a creamy blend of oatmeal and coconut oil. Travel cushions for necks Creamy Mango a creamy blend of oatmeal and coconut oil. It looks like a bar of mango icecream! Fragrant Pot Trivets Door stops and door draft snakes Old fashioned Peg bags Natures Alternative Soaps by local manufacturer Kate Woodward. An excellent product. Jams, oils, food products from local favourites Jetito and Valley Farm Fragrant wardrobe bags- to hang in your cupboards to repel moths and give a lovely fragrance. Murray also runs a Shotokan Karate Class in both Walpole and Denmark for news and information click here
